2024 LGCEA CONFERENCE SPECIAL
Manage Enforcement and
Funding for Bylaw Services!
The best self-empowering bylaw practice is taking control of ticket prosecutions from the tribunals and the courts and close them out on your terms. A ticket conviction is half the battle. After conviction, you must collect fines. That is when the fun begins. You have not achieved compliance until the person who breached the bylaw pays up!
This Master Class schedule covers: |
|
| 9:00–9:45 | Bylaw Notices – Flowchart and Checklist |
| 9:45–10:30 | Municipal Ticket Information (MTIs) – Flowchart and Checklist |
| 10:45–11:30 | Collections – Payment Hearings, Options and Checklist |
| 11:30–12:00 | Questions & Answers |
Learn from the Grandmasters in bylaw enforcement and the law who started this process many years ago – Troy DeSouza and Coral Henderson. They will highlight critical steps for each process and when to “fish or cut bait”. The money you collect on behalf of your local government will more than pay for the cost of this course!
