Kismet Bhandar is a Partner at Dominion GovLaw LLP. She is a seasoned litigator with 28 years of experience in civil litigation, insurance defence, and other claims. Known for her open, approachable, and cooperative style, Kismet fosters teamwork with her clients to achieve positive outcomes. She is also a highly accomplished speaker and educator, providing valuable insights to professional clients.

Kismet was born and raised in Victoria, BC, and earned her law degree from the University of Victoria. She did not fully understand her good fortune of being raised in Victoria until she moved away and lived in other parts of Canada and overseas.

Kismet is actively involved in the community through associations such as serving on the Board of Governors, Canadian Heritage Arts Society – Canadian College of the Performing Arts (2021 to present). In her free time, Kismet enjoys playing games such as Phase 10, Things, Taboo, Careers and Pickleball with family and friends.
