Lauren McRae grew up on Vancouver Island and joined GovLaw after graduating from Vancouver Island University with her Diploma in Criminology. Before pursuing her passion in law, Lauren worked in Social Services with at-risk youth in the foster system and homeless shelters.

When not at work, Lauren enjoys outdoor activities like hiking, quadding, fishing, playing soccer – often with her dog, Dexter, nearby. In summer, Lauren likes to spend quality time extended family in Montreal.
